I love that quote about Ethan Boroian. It was uttered by Dannii Minogue, one of the judges on The X Factor 2009. Even if you don't watch X Factor, which is a UK show similar to American Idol, you need to watch this clip. This guy is from Chicago but living in the UK and he auditioned for X Factor this season. First of all, I LOVE THIS SONG! It's one of my favorite songs and I definitely think people should listen to more Kings of Leon. Second, did you watch the video? Did you see the guy singing? I love the way they played him in with some Metro Station and focused on the female judges turning their heads and smiling excitedly.
He already looks like a superstar. Way to work that scarf. And that smile. Then he opens his mouth and he can actually sing! Plus after he gets through to the next round, HE CALLS HIS MOM! Well played. I'm predicting a career for this guy. Not just one of those "careers" that most of the American Idol "artists" try to have after they're off the show, but a real one. With awards. And fans. And a sex tape.
